Despite the odd chilly breeze, we’ve had a handy burst of sunshine followed by meaningful rainfall recently, continuing, mixed, to help our plants along. Mark has planted out red onions and leeks while the Kennyhill shed got a new summer hat and David is making progress with organising his major project while our Bellahouston plans have had a few final adjustments before being presented for approval. Measuring makes all the difference!
The weather has helped along the ‘plants in the wrong place’, too, so a bit of clearing soon revealed our lovely selection of herbs again, in all their glory, standing proud to remind us how quickly the season progresses. Among them, our French Lavender looked especially healthy and a very lovely sight, nodding in the breeze as if to concur that it was, indeed, a very good day.
